Last weekend was the WPN SURVIVOR Weekend and if you missed it you missed a Super weekend... 24 people joined in on the fun and played 3 challenges... In the end, instead of picking a winner our new friend and great sport was sent to Exile Island for 24 minutes... What a blast we had... there is a second round planned for the weekend of September 3-4-5, plan to be there, new challenges and an even more interesting twist to the game... The pot-luck dinner was a big success, with more then 100 people attending... Thanks to everyone that took part or pitched in o help... West Penn has no planned group meals this weekend... Saturday, 3:00 PM, AANR World Record Skinny Dip Guinness World Record(tm) Challenge... See attached flyer for full detail... WTL is having a Steak Fry, Saturday, 4-7 PM: See attached flyer for full detail... Cost: $12.50 See the WTL weekend schedule and the WPN Summer schedule below... Again this year, many WPN members will be camping in the same location as last, near the second bath house in front of the pump house... Several WPN members are now WTL members as well, and have their own lot locations, we will still all gather during the days and evenings as WPN... Nothing has changed as far as the FUN we will all have together and there are many things planned, so watch your backs and your beds...!!! Ya just never know what evil lurks in the dark of night... West Penn Naturist is hosting the "Wedding Vow Renewal" at White Thorn Lodge again this year on Friday Evening August 27th, at 7:30 PM on the patio and our Staci has taken this as her pet project and has many great things planned for the evening... What we are asking is to help defray the cost of the favors and flowers is that if you can help out with a 1 or 2 dollar donation... See me or Staci, anything will help... Stay NUDE... Jeff

The first summer weekend at White Thorn Lodge was a great success! You couldn’t have asked for better weather. Over 360 guests, including 44 first timers plus the several hundred members made this a super-duper weekend. White Thorn Lodge is located on 100 + acres of beautiful wooded land in Western PA, close to the Ohio border. Conveniently located within an hours drive of Pittsburgh, Erie, Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and Wheeling. Friday evening we celebrated a surprise 90th
birthday party for Tex…one of White Thorn Lodge's oldest and
most loved members. It was such a good party that no one
wanted to leave so the party that was Saturday and Sunday nights the Club House rocked to the tunes of Take One Productions and Edison’s Medicine respectfully. The dance floor was crowded till after midnight both nights. The juniors had a reunion party Sunday afternoon to give the kids a chance to renew old friendships and a chance to meet new friends. 
At the end of the flag raising ceremony Monday morning it was time for The White Thorn Lodge Fun Bowl. There were forty two participants on 6 teams. At the end of
the Round Robin the ranking of the teams were... Team 3 first
seed, Team 4 second, Team 1 was third, with Teams 2, 6 and 5
filling out the order. The teams then entered the final
elimination round. The final playoff game of the elimination
bracket found teams 6 and 4 facing each other for an exciting
final game of the tournament. Team 4 finally was victorous Be sure to check the “Events” tab on the our website to see all of next weeks fun stuff Next Sat. night it will be The Messengers on stage for your dancing fun. Don’t forget these regular weekly events:

Movies and snacks for juniors in Hawthorne Hall
Supervised Activities for Juniors Tennis players always welcome any level of experience to join in. Volleyball is played on Saturday and Sundays on hard and sand courts. Club 21 [Adults only] is open to members and guests fro table pool, TV, cards, Reading, electronic darts, board game or just relaxing Breakfast and lunch are served Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at our snack bar. Check the events schedule for activity based dinner events as we often hold pot lucks and cookouts through the Summer. Have you been to White Thorn Lodge? Western PA's premiere, FAMILY ORIENTED reasonably priced nudist resort. If not you are missing a treat! WTL is big enough for you if you want peace and quiet but small enough to be friendly.
May 15 Saturday evening West Penn Naturist held the last swim of the 2009/2010 season. We would like to thank you all for helping to make this another great season…and we are looking forward to seeing you again next season. More than 60 people showed up for WPN’s appreciation night swim, most were making plans to spend Memorial Day weekend at White Thorn Lodge. Jim T. deserves a special THANK YOU for bringing a beautifully decorated cake for us. Of course we can’t forget to thank Tom P. for spending time grilling hot dog and burgers. Jim S. ended the season winning the 50/50 raffle. Mary C and Elaine won the free passes.
