The Soup cook off at West Penn Naturist was
a great success. All the soups were great and it was
hard to choose which one was best. The voting was very close,
only two votes separated all the winners. Janice took 1st
place, Tom P. 2nd place and Tim & Carol took home the 3rd
place trophy. Thank you to all that made the evening a
great success. As usual the snack table was loaded
with yummies. Mary brought homemade pistachio pies,
several people brought finger sandwiches, cookies and brownies
etc. If you went home hungry…that’s your fault.
Thank you to everyone that made contributed to making
this a great night.
We had the pleasure of welcoming two new
couples and several singles to our swims. We hope to see
you all again at the next swim on Feb 11.
John M. won the 50/50 raffle and Kevin and
Orrie & Be took home the free passes.
Our next swim will be Feb. 11. Just
before Valentines Day so the appropriate the theme will be
Chocolate Night. The snack table is loaded with
everything chocolate. This is a night for all you
chocolate lovers.

Last night, Jan 7, was a very good night at
West Penn Naturist’s International Food Night. Along
with great food we welcomed several new members and a lot of
our friends from White Thorn Lodge and Northcoast Naturists.
Thank you all for coming and helping to make last night
a very special night.
The snack table was exceptional last night.
Tom’s Mexican Lasagna, Audrey’s potato and leek soup with
homemade bread, Bill’s Irish potatoes, Eileen’s baked
brie, and the pizza that Buzz had were among the favorites.
Naturally the table had it’s usual share of cakes and
cookies. THANK YOU all for bringing such great snacks
for us.
The pool, saunas and massage table was kept
busy all night. The saunas, steam and dry, are great
places to sit enjoy the heat and chat with friends. There
were about 20 people playing WPN’s [not quite Olympic]
version of water volleyball. It was almost as much fun
watching them as it was for the players.
Jim H. won the 50/50 raffle and took home
over $50.00.
Our next swim will be Jan. 28, it’s our
soup cook off. If you make a good homemade soup bring it.
We eat soup, vote for our favorite and the soup with the
most votes wins a nice trophy for the cook. Last year we
had ten pots of soup I hope we can have more this year.

Saturday,
Dec 17th, West Penn Naturist held our Christmas party and
nude swim. There were some very nice presents exchanged
and of course the door prizes Buzz gave us were great as
always.
The
snack table had the usual goodies, cakes, chocolate
brownies etc, and the ham Buzz and Bill prepared was
excellent. Thank you to all that contributed to the
table.
We
had the pleasure of having several newbies last night.
They all enjoyed their first experience with social
nudity. It was nice meeting you and we hope you all come
back again soon.
Elaine
won the 50/50 raffle and Jack W. won the free pass.
Our
next swim will be Jan.7. We hope you will plan to
attend. We’d like you to come to WPN and spend a few
hours with us to renew old friendships and make new
friends while enjoying our pool, getting a massage,
spending time in our dry sauna or the steam sauna, and of
course our snack table. One sure way of making a relaxing
evening even more relaxing is to have Dana, our masseuse,
give you a great massage for a very reasonable rate.
Once
again the generosity of the WPN members was evident by the
amount of socks, etc that were contributed to OPERATION
WHITE SOCKS this year. Thank you all for making this
charitable clothing drive a big success. I’m sure
the homeless appreciate everything we donated.

There was a good
crowd at the West Penn Naturist swim last night, Dec. 3.
It was just a good night to get a massage, hang out in
the saunas or just sit and chat.
We kept Betty and
her five blenders busy all night. She made
Key Lime, Blueberry, Tutti Fruiti, Strawberry Banana and
Orange Cream and Cherry Vanilla smoothies. It was tough
to decide which one was the most popular, they all were
excellent. Betty, THANK YOU for all the work you did to
make the night a success. As always the snack table was
loaded with goodies for us to share. Thanks to all that
brought snacks.
Denise and Larry

Last night West
Penn Naturist had the pleasure of welcoming four new members.
Some of them were 1st timers, soon they were all undressed and
feeling comfortable with their nudity.
The highlight of
the evening was the chili cook off. We sampled all the
chili, voted for the one we liked best. In the end it was Jeff
H taking 1st place. 2nd place went to Brian
K. and 3rd place was taken by Julie S. This was the
closest voting we have had in several years. There were only 2
votes difference between 1st and 3rd place. Congratulations to
all the winners and thanks to all that brought, not only chili
but all the other goodies we had on the snack table.
The 50/50 raffle
was won by Brian S. Brian, thank you very much for the
generous donation you gave back to the club. Tiffany of
Brian won the free pass.
As usual the
saunas and pool got a good work out.
WPN’s
water ball, no rules, no scoring, just having fun. At one time
we had about 15 players with several beach balls being
played at one time.
Our next swim will
be Nov. 12. We’d like you to come to West Penn Naturist and

Over
50 people celebrated West Penn Naturist’s 30th birthday
party. Buzz had cake and ice cream plus a little gift
for each of us. It was good to see some old friends that
attended their first swim of the season and we had 4 newbies
at their first socially nude event. They all enjoyed them
selves and said they will return soon.
Virginia
won the 50/50 raffle and Elaine took home the free pass.
A
lot of people played our version of water volleyball. No
rules, no scoring, just hit the beach balls and have fun.
Some people enjoyed our steam and dry saunas, some just
sat and chatted with old and new friends. Dana, our
masseuse, was kept busy till midnight. Everyone said
the felt “great” when they got off her table. Dana gives
excellent massages, the next time your at a swim be sure to
sign up for her massage.
The snack table
was loaded with goodies as usual. Bill and Janice
brought pulled pork that was excellent! The stuffed
peppers Taz brought was another hit. As mentioned above the
birthday cake and ice cream was a welcome treat. It tasted as
good as it looked. It was a sheet cake bordered with cup
cakes. Everyone threw away the diet book for a night and
enjoyed cake and ice cream.
Thank you to all
that brought something for us to share.
Our next swim will
be Oct. 15.
