WPN Interview with a Guest Couple

Ruth and Walt are a very friendly couple that came to the January 5th swim. Walt had just climbed from the pool after shooting some hoops and I stopped to chat. They mentioned they had read the interviews page on the web site so I asked if they'd like to be interviewed themselves. They happily agreed to be.

WPN: So this is your visit to West Penn?

Ruth: Yes it is.

WPN: How'd you find out about West Penn?

Walt: We seen the web site. We thought we'd drive up for the evening and check out club.

WPN: What do you think?

Ruth: I think it's great. I love it.

WPN: And you're from West Virginia, right?

Ruth: Yes

WPN: How long have you been nudists?

Walt: About a year now.

WPN: Are you nudists at home.

Ruth: Yes, pretty much. We don't have any kids at home now so we can stay nude as we like.

WPN: Is this your first social nudist experience?

Walt: No, we've been to Gunison beach a couple times.

WPN: What made you decide to try it?

Ruth: He had been reading about it and wanted to give it a try.

Walt: Yes, we went for my birthday.

WPN: How'd he talk you into trying it?

Ruth: Well we went and I just fell right into it. I didn't have any problem at all. It was fun. I really enjoy it.

WPN: Anywhere else?

Ruth: No, just here tonight.

WPN: What do like about nudism.

Ruth: It's relaxing. You can just be yourself. You don't have to worry about how you look. It's about body acceptance. All these women you see on television. It's not true and women and young girls try to make themselves look like them. It's not healthy.

WPN: Right. If people would just come out and try it they'd find out it doesn't matter what your body looks like. It's the person you are inside.

Ruth: That's right. Everyone should try to come out for an evening like this. It's so much fun.

WPN: Thanks for coming tonight and come back soon.

Walt: We will come back again.
