Buzz Speaks (One of the Caretakers)
For
those that want to try nudism for the first time, I might suggest
that a larger group is better then a small group for your first
time. That way you feel like you blend in more. Trust me, you
will blend in and in a short time will be comfortable with yourself.
Don't
worry about not knowing anyone there. It can be a little over
whelming to walk into a place where there is a crowd of strangers.
Especially nude strangers!! It might be a good idea to come
a little early and be there before the crowd arrives. You are
already there and the crowd builds around you. Nudist love to
sit and talk to each other. First timers might try to break
the ice with conversations about "what was your first time
like" or "what is nudism to you" Another suggestion
might be "what other nudist resorts have you gone to and
what were they like". Join in a group and chat. Sitting
by yourself being bored is not fun. And don't be afraid to admit
that you are nervous about getting nude. Everyone had a first
nude experience sometime.
We
are all NUDE. We all have and want our privacy. If you do run
into someone you know....just remember that person is there
to enjoy social nudity the same as you. Nudist as a rule only
use first names. And please don't get too personal. By asking
people you just met too many personal questions. And never take
a camera to a nudist event without asking permission first.
Always take at least two towels, one to sit on and one to dry
on. Nudist always sits only on there own towels.
West Penn Naturist is a family nudist club. Family oriented
means that it is safe to bring the children or grandma. There
is absolutely no sexual misconduct!!!! Any one not adhering
to the club policies may be ask to leave. And banned from future
events. Clothing optional means that you do not have to be nude.
Some first timers will be content to wrap a beach towel around
themselves. Others might like a large shirt or beach jacket.
That's strictly up to you. Check our policy page for proper
attire.
Ladies
you won't be alone. We do have several single women and a lot
of married women who regularly attend our swims. You will be
treated with the respect you deserve. You will not be "hit
on" or "checked out" If someone makes you feel
uncomfortable by their behavior tell the caretakers and they
will warn and most likely ask that person to leave
I
know that you are interested in social nudity. If you weren't
you would be reading this. So why not put your thoughts into
action. Follow your instincts and try us. If you don't like
us....you are free to leave with no questions ask.
The
hardest part of becoming a nudist is deciding that you want
to be a nudist!
